The Dig: Electric Dig Unit for Dual Crawler

This one-of-a-kind module allows crawlers to independently control the front, rear or both speed controls in dual-system rigs. Powering only the front or rear on a rock-crawler vehicle - commonly referred to as a "dig" - allows for tighter turns, precise maneuverability through tricky terrain, and more control on steep inclines and downhill descents, reducing the amount of reverses needed to clear obstacles.

Operation

The Dig Unit interfaces between any two sensored or non-sensored brushless or brushed systems; the Dig can even operate on one brushless and one brushed system. The Dig mixes the throttle channel with a three position, or proportional, third channel. The transmitter does not need a mixing function to operate The Dig. All of the mixing is done within The Dig Unit itself.

The Dig can be easily programmed into most 3 Channel Transmitters. The Dig does not require any vehicle modifications to install or operate. Simply plug it into any threechannel surface receiver, and you're ready to dig!

The versatile Dig is ideal to use with any dual combination of Novak crawling systems: Rooster Crawler Edition ESC/Forty-Five Brushed Motor Combo (#1843), Rooster Crawler Edition ESC/Fifty-Five Brushed Motor Combo (#1842) and Goat Brushless Crawler System (#3019).
